Sourcing Specialist

Purpose

The purpose of the OEC Sourcing Specialist is to identify viable candidates for manufacturing, warehouse and distribution positions.  

Essential Functions

  • Conduct searches for candidates using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including but not limited to: online searches, internet postings, candidate database
  • Prescreens candidates to identify levels of skills and specialties
  • Determine candidate suitability by evaluating commitment, compensation expectations, assessing relevant experience, education, skills and other qualifications to help determine pay
  • Coordinate and conduct candidate interviews using video conferencing
  • Ensure applicant tracking system is continuously up-to-date and accurate
  • Post and update ads on various job boards

Competencies

  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates comprehension
  • Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans

Required

  • Minimum of a High School diploma

Preferred

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or University, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Onboarding Specialist

Purpose

Our Onboarding Specialist is responsible for all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. This position is responsible for supporting our internal customers, answering inbound calls, and distributing both inbound and outbound mail.  The Onboarding Specialist position will be the “face” of the company for all visitors.  The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition with a customer-oriented approach.  The goal is to make our guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for performing administrative and general office duties
  • Provides clerical support for Recruiters & Account Managers
  • Assist candidates with the pre-employment screen process
  • Remain actively engaged with candidates prior to hire date
  • Complete all documentation required
  • Assist with day-to-day questions and issues with regard to pre-employment
  • Coordinating interview schedules
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Effectively handle phone calls and emails

Competencies

  • Communicate on a professional level clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with the public and employees at all levels
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Handle pressure while remaining focused on time sensitive agenda
  • Positive attitude with a team player mindset
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain total confidentiality

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Type at least 40 WPM
  • Operate basic office equipment
  • Excellent PC skills, Experience with Word and Outlook required, Excel preferred
  • One years previous office experience, preferred

Education

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or two or more years of relative experience and/or training
