Why not? We are a great company! When the opportunity presented itself to start a new branch in the Raleigh area, I knew this would be an incredible challenge but also the opportunity to change the way people look at staffing agencies. Our company puts people first and they matter. Whether it is an associate or client, we treat everyone with respect and listen to what their needs are. Building lasting relationships is always the key to success.
What is one thing people do not know about you?
I was an Equestrian rider in my youth and showed both Western and English.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to your younger self?
Find your passion and run with it. I always thought I wanted to be a nurse, but after working part-time one summer at a staffing agency, someone asked me why nursing school? I said I liked helping people. It was like a lightbulb went off and I knew I was where I needed to be. Staffing has allowed me to not only help people but change their lives forever.
What kind of activities do you like to do with your family and friends?
Travel, spending quality time relaxing with family and friends, and dinners with my grown children.
What advice would you give to someone looking for a job right now?
Start at the bottom and learn as much as you can, so you are prepared to help others when they start their career. Respect not only your employer but those you work with, because we spend more time with them than we do with our families. Be proud of a good work ethic. It will take you down the right path every time.
